Specifying a Paperless Recorder's Export and Data Workflow

A Madincos equipment-selection brief covering input requirements, recording behaviour and usable data exports.

Source type: Manufacturer-authored datasheet, distributor-hosted. The Madincos MPR9000 datasheet is marked January 2019 and describes multi-channel recording, USB data transfer and PC viewing/export software. It is a legacy technical reference hosted by a distributor, not a white paper or a current specification for every recorder.

Madincos application overview: Make file handling a purchasing requirement, Specify inputs and configuration separately, Ask how recording and retention work

Make file handling a purchasing requirement

Tell the supplier which file format the receiving team needs and whether analysis must occur on a particular computer or operating system. Ask which outputs are native, which require conversion software and whether any licence is needed. A USB port alone does not establish a usable spreadsheet-export workflow.

Specify inputs and configuration separately

List every channel's input type, range and units, together with required sensor excitation or external power. Confirm whether the ordered variant supports the complete mix. A product family described as universal does not establish that any signal can be connected without the model-specific wiring arrangement.

Ask how recording and retention work

Provide the intended run length and fastest event of interest. Request the supported acquisition and storage intervals, memory behaviour and what happens when storage fills. Confirm how settings, channel identifiers and timestamps appear in transferred data.

Review old documentation carefully

The linked Madincos document is a January 2019 manufacturer datasheet hosted by a distributor. Treat its model and software information as historical reference until current documentation is supplied. Do not infer modern operating-system support, battery operation or data-integrity certification from a legacy brochure.

Request a demonstration file

Before finalising the specification, ask for a sample file and verify that it can be opened, interpreted and retained in the intended workflow. Include cables, software, configuration and documentation in the scope where needed. ProSense can review the requirement without assuming that a legacy model is currently stocked.
