Specify equipment for hot-water supply and return monitoring with milesight: measurement requirements, interfaces, installation details and the information needed for a useful quotation.

Hot-Water Supply and Return Monitoring with Milesight planning overview

Milesight's French hotel case includes TS302 sensors for domestic-hot-water supply and return measurements, with gateways and a BMS platform. The application ideas below are planning guidance, not a report of ProSense delivering that hotel project.

Specify the probe arrangement

Provide normal and maximum temperatures, required accuracy, pipe or immersion mounting, cable length and environmental conditions. Clarify whether the measurement is intended for trend observation or another purpose. A device's electronic measurement range alone does not establish that the supplied probe and cable suit the installation.

Confirm channels and the ordered variant

Check the exact TS302 configuration, compatible probes, channel availability, enclosure and power arrangement against the current manufacturer documents. State whether one device can serve the proposed locations or separate units are needed. The physical distance between supply and return points can affect the bill of materials.

Define the LoRaWAN data path

Identify the network, regional configuration, gateway, device decoder and destination platform. A sensor reporting to a gateway is not the same as two correctly labelled measurements appearing in the customer's BMS. Reporting interval, device naming and offline indication need to be part of the integration brief.

Before committing to supply

Request the exact hardware and probe model codes, gateway requirements and software/integration scope. Provide a plant sketch and the intended measurement locations. Ask for an acceptance checklist covering point mapping and reference checks. Contact ProSense to confirm the available configuration and any ongoing platform costs.
