A compact acoustic Doppler current meter for real-time monitoring of water velocity, level, temperature, instantaneous flow, and cumulative flow in rivers, open channels, pipelines, and drainage networks.

This acoustic Doppler point current meter / flow sensor is designed for continuous, online monitoring of water flow conditions across natural and engineered waterways. Using the ultrasonic Doppler principle, the sensor accurately measures water velocity, while ultrasonic time-difference or static pressure methods are used to determine water level. Flow rate is calculated by configuring the channel or pipe cross-section.

The solid-state design features no rotating or mechanical parts, ensuring long service life, high reliability, and truly maintenance-free operation. Its compact form factor allows installation in confined spaces, making it suitable for permanent monitoring as well as temporary measurement campaigns.

This sensor is widely deployed in urban water management, sponge city projects, water supply and drainage networks, environmental monitoring, river and reservoir studies, and scientific flow analysis, where accuracy, durability, and low maintenance are essential.
