The ProSense Remote Electromagnetic Flow Meter provides accurate, reliable measurement of water and other electrically conductive liquids in industrial, municipal, irrigation, water treatment and process applications.
Designed as a split/remote flow meter system, the electromagnetic flow sensor is installed directly into the pipeline while the digital display and signal transmitter are mounted separately in a convenient and accessible location.
This arrangement is particularly suited to large pipelines, underground installations, pits, plant rooms and applications where the flow meter itself is difficult to access.
Powered from 24 VDC, the remote transmitter provides both 4–20 mA analogue output and RS485 digital communications, allowing straightforward integration with PLCs, SCADA, RTUs, data loggers and remote monitoring systems.
With no moving components in the flow path, electromagnetic measurement provides low maintenance and minimal pressure loss compared with mechanical flow measurement technologies.
