ProSight Vortex Flow Meter for Liquid Gas Steam is a velocity-based flow measurement device that operates on the Von Kármán Vortex Street Principle. As fluid flows past a specially designed bluff body inside the meter, alternating vortices are generated downstream. The frequency of these vortices is directly proportional to the flow velocity.

By detecting and measuring vortex frequency, the meter accurately calculates flow rate and totalized flow volume without moving parts, resulting in excellent reliability and low maintenance requirements.

Measurement Process
