How It Works
Gas entering the flow meter rotates two synchronized Roots rotors inside the measuring chamber. Each complete rotor rotation displaces a fixed volume of gas, allowing the instrument to calculate the total gas volume with exceptional accuracy. The rotor movement is transmitted through a magnetic coupling to the mechanical or electronic counter while keeping the measuring chamber completely sealed. Optional electronic transmitters convert the measured flow into pulse, 4–20 mA, or digital communication signals for integration with PLC, SCADA, or flow monitoring systems.
