ProSight Agriculture Water Flowmeter DJ485-DN40 Plastic/Nylon 5-150LPM Flow Sensor for Farmland Fertilizer is a high-accuracy flow measurement instrument designed for conductive liquids such as irrigation water. It is primarily used in agricultural irrigation systems, water distribution networks, and environmental monitoring applications. The ProSight DJ485-DN40 is a nylon and glass-fibre water flow sensor designed for irrigation, agricultural water monitoring and automated water-control systems.
This product is a mechanical rotor flow sensor. As water passes through the body, it rotates an internal impeller. A Hall-effect sensor detects the rotor movement, and the connected converter communicates the flow measurement to a PLC, controller, RTU or monitoring system through RS485 Modbus.
Please note: This product is not an electromagnetic flow meter. It contains a moving internal rotor and should only be used with clean, low-viscosity liquids that are compatible with its wetted materials.
How It Works
- Water enters the sensor and turns the internal rotor.
- Rotor speed changes in proportion to the flow rate.
- The Hall-effect sensor detects rotor movement.
- The electronic converter processes the signal.
