This wireless soil temperature sensor is designed for stable and accurate in-ground temperature measurement in outdoor environments.
Using an epoxy-sealed NTC thermistor, the probe provides dependable readings across a wide temperature range from –40°C to +60°C, making it suitable for frost monitoring, greenhouse management, crop root-zone tracking, turf management, and research applications.
The 30 cm probe length allows measurement at practical root depth, while the IP65-rated enclosure ensures resistance to dust and water ingress for long-term outdoor deployment.
Wireless transmission enables remote monitoring up to 100 metres (line-of-sight), eliminating the need for trenching or hard wiring. A built-in LCD screen displays real-time temperature readings locally, while automatic reporting at fixed intervals supports integration with compatible weather stations or monitoring systems.
