DRAGINO LoRaWAN Compact Weather Station Kit
DRAGINO LoRaWAN Compact Weather Station Kit is a LoRaWAN weather station transmitter designed for wireless monitoring of atmospheric conditions. It supports external temperature, humidity and air pressure sensing, along with an illuminance sensor and tipping-bucket rain gauge. Using LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A communication, the unit can transmit weather data to a compatible LoRaWAN network for remote monitoring and analysis. It supports multiple regional frequency bands, Bluetooth configuration and wireless firmware updates.
Please note that the DRAGINO LoRaWAN Compact Weather Station Kit series only includes the wireless transmitter, the 3 in 1 sensor, Illuminance sensor and rain guage need to be purchased separately.

The DRAGINO LoRaWAN Compact Weather Station Kit is designed to measure atmospheric conditions and send collected data through a LoRaWAN network. Dragino describes it as its third-generation weather station kit, intended to provide a practical method of collecting weather information for forecasting, weather studies and agricultural monitoring.
The transmitter supports external sensors for temperature, humidity, air pressure, illuminance and rainfall. The 3-in-1 DR-THP-6P sensor communicates with the transmitter through an I2C interface, while the rain gauge uses a pulse input.
How it works
- The connected weather sensors measure environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, illumination and rainfall.
- The WSC2-Compact-LS collects the sensor readings and processes the information for transmission.
- Data is transmitted through a compatible LoRaWAN 1.0.3 Class A network.
- The default uplink interval is 20 minutes and can be changed through configuration.
- Bluetooth, UART and LoRaWAN downlink methods can be used for configuration.
- Sensor data can then be received by a compatible LoRaWAN network server for monitoring and further processing.
