DRAGINO Illumination Sensor
DRAGINO Illumination Sensor is an illumination sensor for compatible Dragino weather station systems. Based on the BH1750 illumination sensor, it measures ambient light from 0 to 65,535 lux with 1 lux resolution. With an operating range of -40 to 85°C and a 50 cm cable, the DR-IL-6P can be integrated into compatible Dragino weather monitoring installations as an additional environmental measurement.
Compatible Transmitters:
The DRAGINO Illumination Sensor provides illumination measurement as part of a modular weather monitoring system. It is designed to be used with compatible Dragino weather station transmitters, including the WSC2-Compact Lorawan / WSC2-Compact NB-IoT weather station systems.
The sensor is based on the BH1750 illumination sensor and measures light intensity in lux. This allows illumination data to be collected alongside other environmental measurements such as temperature, humidity, air pressure and rainfall.
How it works
- The DR-IL-6P detects ambient illumination using a BH1750-based light sensor.
- Light intensity is measured in lux (lx).
- The sensor provides readings from 0 to 65,535 lx.
- The measurement resolution is 1 lx.
- The sensor connects to the compatible Dragino weather station system using its specified cable connection.
Why choose this product
- Wide illumination range - Measures light levels from 0 to 65,535 lux.
- Fine measurement resolution - Provides 1 lux resolution.
- Designed for Dragino weather stations - Listed as an optional illumination sensor for compatible WSC systems.
- Compact sensor integration - Adds illumination measurement without requiring a separate weather station transmitter.
Benefits
The DRAGINO Illumination Sensor allows illumination to be included as an additional parameter in a weather monitoring system. When combined with other compatible Dragino sensors, it can provide a broader set of environmental measurements from the same monitoring installation.
