ACREL Infrared Temperature Measurement Collector is a data collector for the AMB300 series infrared temperature measurement modules used in busway and busbar temperature monitoring systems. It provides two downstream communication channels for collecting temperature data and two RS485 interfaces for connection to monitoring systems or touch screens. The unit operates from a DC 24-30 volt supply and can collect data from up to 160 AMB300 infrared temperature measurement modules.

The ACREL Infrared Temperature Measurement Collector forms the data collection component of the AMB300 infrared busbar temperature monitoring system. AMB300 modules perform non-contact infrared temperature measurement at busway connection points, while the ACREL Infrared Temperature Measurement Collector collects their data and transfers it to a monitoring system or touch screen.

Two downstream communication channels are provided for AMB300 modules. Each channel can support up to 80 infrared temperature measurement modules, giving a total capacity of up to 160 modules per AMB310. The installation instructions specify a maximum two-bus line length of 250 metres per channel.
