Online Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Sensor | Stainless Steel RS485 Water Quality
This stainless steel total suspended solids (TSS) sensor measures suspended matter using the backward scattered-light method. An infrared beam is projected into the sample; suspended particles scatter the light, and the sensor calculates TSS concentration by comparing the returned signal to internal calibration data, followed by linearisation.
A pure quartz optical path and infrared LED light source provide excellent stability and resistance to ambient light interference. The integrated temperature sensor improves measurement consistency across changing conditions. Designed for online, in-situ deployment, the probe features IP68 protection for continuous immersion (up to 20 m) and requires minimal maintenance.
With RS485 (Modbus RTU) and 4–20 mA outputs, the sensor connects easily to PLCs, RTUs, SCADA systems, data loggers, and IoT gateways.
