This online oil-in-water sensor measures dissolved oil concentration using the fluorescence method. Soluble oil exhibits characteristic absorption and emission peaks in the spectrum. The sensor emits monochromatic UV light at the absorption peak; oil molecules absorb this energy and re-emit light at a longer wavelength. The emitted fluorescence intensity is directly proportional to oil concentration, enabling accurate, stable measurements.
Designed for in-situ, continuous operation, the probe features a UV LED light source for high stability, long service life, and low drift. An AC drive effectively suppresses ambient light interference, improving signal reliability in real-world environments. With automatic temperature compensation (Pt1000), fast response, and simple maintenance, the sensor is ideal for wastewater, industrial discharge, and environmental monitoring.
