Solar PV Maximum Power Tester (MPPT) – Open Circuit, Short Circuit & Power
Portable photovoltaic power tester designed to quickly measure maximum power (Pmax), open-circuit voltage, and short-circuit current of solar panels. Ideal for solar installation, commissioning, maintenance, and fault diagnosis.
This solar photovoltaic maximum power tester is a professional diagnostic tool used to evaluate the real-world performance of PV panels and modules. It accurately measures the maximum power point (MPPT) of a solar panel, allowing installers and technicians to verify output efficiency and quickly identify underperforming or faulty modules.
The tester simultaneously displays maximum power (Pmax), peak power voltage (Vmp), peak power current (Imp), open-circuit voltage (Voc), and short-circuit current (Isc) on a single screen, providing a complete electrical snapshot of the panel under test. This makes it highly effective for commissioning, acceptance testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar installations.
With support for high-power panels up to 800 W, the device is suitable for modern mono, bifacial, and dual-glass PV modules. The compact, palm-sized design and MC4 test lead connection allow for fast, safe, and convenient field testing.
The tester requires no internal battery, drawing power directly from the photovoltaic panel being tested. Built-in over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection ensures safe operation during testing.
