This safety light curtain sensor is designed to provide reliable, non-contact protection for personnel and equipment in industrial environments. Using multiple infrared beams arranged in a vertical array, the system detects interruptions within the protected area and triggers a stop or safety response in connected machinery.
Available in multiple beam configurations (8, 10, 12, and 14 beams), the light curtain can be selected based on the required detection resolution and coverage height. It is suitable for safeguarding access points on machinery, production lines, automated equipment, and robotic systems.
The system consists of an emitter and receiver pair that create an invisible infrared detection field. When any beam is interrupted, the system outputs a signal to stop or isolate hazardous motion, helping reduce the risk of injury and equipment damage.
