Rain & Snow Detection Sensor – RS485 Modbus or Relay Output, IP68 Outdoor Rated
The CWT-RS Rain and Snow Sensor is an industrial-grade detector designed to identify the presence of rain, snow, or storm conditions in outdoor environments. Using AC excitation sensing technology, it avoids electrode oxidation and maintains long-term sensitivity, even in harsh climates.
The sensor supports RS485 (Modbus RTU) communication or relay/switch output, making it suitable for PLC, RTU, SCADA, and building automation systems. An optional automatic heating function allows reliable snow detection in freezing conditions by preventing icing and condensation.
Manufactured by ComWinTop, this device is widely used in environmental monitoring, agriculture, aquaculture, and smart infrastructure projects.
