ProSight Liquid Meter Transmitter - Submersibleis a submersible liquid level transmitter designed for continuous measurement and control of water and compatible liquids in tanks, reservoirs, wells, and industrial systems. It measures hydrostatic pressure at the immersion point to determine the liquid depth and converts the measurement into a standard electrical output. Key features include a high-precision oil-filled diffusion silicon sensor, ±0.5% F.S. accuracy, IP68 protection, temperature compensation, high overload capacity, and optional Modbus RS485 communication.

The ProSight Liquid Meter Transmitter - Submersible is a continuous liquid-level measurement device designed to determine the depth or height of liquid in tanks, wells, reservoirs, and other vessels.

The transmitter is a throw-in or submersible type device that is installed directly into the liquid. It uses a high-precision oil-filled diffusion silicon pressure sensing core to detect hydrostatic pressure. Because hydrostatic pressure increases with the height of liquid above the sensor, the transmitter can establish a linear relationship between the measured pressure and the liquid depth.

The ProSight Liquid Meter Transmitter - Submersible then converts the measured pressure into a standard output signal for connection to a PLC, HMI, SCADA system, data logger, controller, or other industrial monitoring equipment. Available output options include 4–20 mA, 0.5–4.5 V, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, and RS485.

How Does It Work?

  • Submersible installation: The transmitter is lowered directly into the liquid through the cable outlet and positioned at the desired measurement depth.
  • Hydrostatic pressure detection: The pressure sensing element detects the pressure created by the liquid column above the sensor.
  • Pressure-to-level conversion: The transmitter's signal-conditioning circuit establishes a linear relationship between hydrostatic pressure and liquid depth.
  • Signal output: The measured liquid level is converted into a standardized analog or digital output signal.
  • System integration: The output can be connected to monitoring and automation equipment for continuous level display, alarms, pump control, data logging, and process management.

Why Choose this Product?

  • High-precision sensing — Uses an oil-filled diffusion silicon sensing core with ±0.5% F.S. accuracy.
