The Professional Digital Dissolved Oxygen (DO) Meter is a handheld water quality analyzer designed to measure dissolved oxygen concentration, oxygen saturation percentage, water temperature, salinity, and atmospheric pressure. It provides highly accurate and repeatable measurements, making it an essential instrument for monitoring water quality across scientific, industrial, agricultural, and environmental applications.
Using a Clark-type oxygen electrode together with automatic temperature compensation and manual salinity/barometric pressure compensation, the meter calculates precise dissolved oxygen values even when environmental conditions change. The large LCD simultaneously displays measurement values and operational information for easy reading.
Its built-in memory, data hold function, stability indicator, real-time clock, and optional PC connectivity make it suitable for both field measurements and laboratory analysis.
How It Works
The meter measures dissolved oxygen using a Clark-type electrochemical oxygen probe. Oxygen molecules diffuse through the membrane and generate an electrical signal proportional to the oxygen concentration in the water. The instrument automatically compensates for temperature and allows users to adjust salinity and atmospheric pressure to improve measurement accuracy.
