The ProSight ES3050 1A DC Resistance Tester Electronic Power 220V is a high-precision portable instrument developed for measuring extremely low electrical resistance. It is widely used by electrical engineers, maintenance technicians, utility companies, and industrial manufacturers to verify the integrity of electrical connections, transformer windings, grounding systems, relay contacts, switchgear, cables, and metal bonding.

Unlike conventional multimeters, the ES3050-1A uses the four-wire Kelvin measurement method, eliminating errors caused by test lead resistance and providing highly accurate resistance readings. The instrument also measures AC and DC voltage, stores test records, and transfers data to a computer through its USB interface for documentation and analysis.

How It Works

The tester injects a stable 1A DC test current through the device under test while separately measuring the voltage drop across the test points using independent sensing leads. This four-wire technique eliminates measurement errors caused by cable resistance, allowing precise resistance measurements even at very low values.
