These instruments apply a controlled DC test voltage to insulation systems and accurately measure insulation resistance, helping maintenance personnel detect moisture ingress, insulation aging, contamination, and leakage before equipment failure occurs.
Both models also provide AC/DC voltage measurement, Polarization Index (PI), Dielectric Absorption Ratio (DAR), automatic discharge, onboard memory, and alarm functions, making them comprehensive tools for predictive and preventive maintenance. The FR3025 offers test voltages from 100 V to 2500 V, while the FR3025E extends the range up to 5000 V for higher-voltage applications.
How it Works
