Fibre Optic Light Source (Multi-Wavelength 850–1550nm, Stabilised Output)
Portable optical light source for fibre testing, supporting multiple wavelengths for accurate link loss and continuity measurements.
This fibre optic light source is designed to provide a stable optical signal for testing and verification of fibre optic links. Supporting multiple wavelengths across both multimode and singlemode systems, it enables accurate measurement of insertion loss and link performance when used with a compatible optical power meter.
The unit delivers consistent and reliable output, making it suitable for installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fibre networks. It is commonly used in conjunction with optical power meters to perform end-to-end attenuation testing and fibre link validation.
With compatibility across common fibre types and connector interfaces, the device can be used in FTTH, FTTx, data centre, and industrial fibre environments. Its compact and portable design makes it well suited for field technicians requiring dependable test equipment.
