MONNIT Wireless Tilt Detection Sensor with AA Battery

The MONNIT Wireless Tilt Detection Sensor with AA Battery is designed for remote monitoring of position and movement. It can be installed on access barriers, equipment arms, gates and machinery where a change in orientation may indicate that an asset has moved outside its expected position.

The sensor uses an accelerometer to monitor tilt and reports the measured position in degrees. Monnit specifies a 0-180° measurement range with 0.5° accuracy. It can also identify whether an monitored arm or barrier is in an "Up", "Down" or "Stuck" state, with movement between these regions recorded.

The supplied model uses the ALTA 433 MHz wireless platform and a standard AA battery configuration. Monnit lists Australia as a 433 MHz region for this product family. The sensor is supplied with mounting hardware and two AA batteries.
