The MONNIT Wireless Single Input Pulse Counter Sensor is a wireless single-input pulse counter that tracks active and passive digital pulse outputs from third-party meters and machinery. Powered by AA batteries with 433 MHz radio transmission, it logs pulse counts over set intervals and wirelessly transmits data to the cloud for real-time monitoring.
How It Works
The sensor attaches to secondary equipment using a two-wire high-impedance lead. It detects voltage changes or circuit closures on either positive or negative pulse edges. Internal firmware tallies each pulse and stores the cumulative total. At set time intervals (heartbeats), the device wirelessly sends the data via 433 MHz RF transmission to a local gateway, which uploads the readings to monitoring software. Software filters can be configured to ignore electrical noise or false contact bounces.
