MONNIT Wireless Motion, Temperature & Humidity Sensor is a wireless three-in-one sensor that monitors motion, ambient temperature and relative humidity. It can detect movement from people or animals while also tracking environmental conditions in the same area. With an AA battery-powered design and ALTA 433 MHz wireless communication, it is suited to remote monitoring of rooms, facilities and other areas where occupancy and environmental conditions need to be observed together.
The MONNIT Wireless Motion, Temperature & Humidity Sensor combines three monitoring functions in one wireless sensor - motion detection, ambient temperature measurement and relative humidity monitoring. This allows customers to observe activity and environmental conditions from a single device rather than installing separate sensors for each measurement.
The sensor uses passive infrared technology to detect heat signatures associated with movement. It can detect motion from people or animals up to 15 feet away and within an 80° angle. At the same time, it measures ambient temperature and relative humidity, providing additional information about conditions within the monitored area.
How it works
