MONNIT Wireless Low Temperature Sensor AA Battery Operated is an ALTA wireless low temperature sensor with a 3 foot probe and 433 MHz communication. It is designed for monitoring low temperature conditions in refrigeration, freezer and other suitable applications. The sensor uses two standard AA batteries and includes wireless sensor mounting hardware.

The MONNIT Wireless Low Temperature Sensor AA Battery Operated provides wireless monitoring of low temperature conditions using a remote probe. The 3-foot, 10-foot, 25-foot probe allows the sensing point to be positioned away from the main sensor enclosure, making it useful where the temperature needs to be measured inside a cold environment or at a specific location.

The sensor operates on the ALTA 433 MHz wireless frequency. Monnit lists 433 MHz for Australia and the Asia-Pacific region for this product configuration.

The standard configuration uses two AA batteries and includes wireless sensor mounting hardware. The selected model has no certification.

How it works

  • The probe measures the temperature at the selected sensing point.
  • The sensor uses the ALTA 433 MHz wireless platform to transmit temperature information.
  • The 3 foot probe provides separation between the sensing point and the sensor enclosure.
  • Two standard AA batteries provide power for the sensor.

Why choose this product

  • Suitable for wireless monitoring of low temperature environments.
  • The 3-foot, 10-foot, 25-foot provides flexibility when positioning the temperature sensing point.
  • The 433 MHz frequency is the configuration Monnit lists for Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Benefits

  • Avoids the need for a dedicated signal cable between the sensor and monitoring system.
  • Allows temperature to be monitored at a location that may be difficult to reach with conventional wired sensors.
  • Uses readily available AA battery technology in the standard configuration.
  • Mounting hardware is supplied with the sensor.
