Wireless Duct Temperature Sensor with 8 Foot Probe is an ALTA wireless duct temperature sensor with an 8 foot probe and 433 MHz communication. It is designed for monitoring temperature in air ducts and HVAC applications. The sensor uses two AA batteries and a standard Monnit AA enclosure, with wireless sensor mounting hardware included.

The Monnit Wireless Duct Temperature Sensor with 8 Foot Probe measures temperature within ductwork and transmits the sensor information wirelessly. Its 8 foot probe allows the temperature sensing point to be positioned within the duct while the sensor enclosure remains outside the measurement area.

The sensor operates on Monnit's ALTA wireless platform at 433 MHz. For the Australian configuration, Monnit lists 433 MHz as the applicable frequency.

The standard configuration is powered by two AA batteries and uses Monnit's Standard AA Enclosure. Wireless sensor mounting hardware is included.

How it works

  • The probe is positioned inside the air duct at the required temperature measurement point.
  • The sensor measures the duct temperature through the probe.
  • Temperature information is transmitted using the ALTA 433 MHz wireless platform.
  • Two AA batteries provide power for the standard configuration.

Why choose this product

  • Designed specifically for duct temperature monitoring.
  • The 8 foot probe provides additional reach for duct installations.
  • The 433 MHz configuration is listed by Monnit for Australia.
  • Wireless operation can reduce the need for dedicated signal wiring between the duct sensor and monitoring equipment.

Benefits

  • Suitable for HVAC and air duct temperature monitoring.
  • Allows the sensing point to be positioned separately from the sensor enclosure.
  • Standard AA battery operation provides a straightforward power arrangement.
  • Mounting hardware is supplied with the sensor.
