MONNIT Wireless Door and Window Open-Close Sensor is a wireless open/closed sensor designed to monitor the status of doors, windows, cabinets and other access points. Using the ALTA 433 MHz wireless platform, it communicates status information to a compatible Monnit system for remote monitoring. The sensor uses a standard AA battery configuration and includes the sensor, mounting hardware and a sensor magnet with mounting flange. It is suited to facilities, equipment areas and other locations where knowing whether an access point is open or closed is important.

The MONNIT Wireless Door and Window Open-Close Sensor is an ALTA wireless open/closed sensor designed to provide status information from doors, windows, cabinets and other locations where an opening needs to be monitored. The model uses the ALTA 433 MHz frequency and a standard AA battery configuration.

The supplied sensor and magnet are positioned on the monitored opening so that the system can identify its open or closed state. Status information can then be transmitted through the compatible Monnit wireless monitoring system.

How it works

  • The sensor and supplied magnet are installed on or around the opening being monitored.
  • Opening or closing the monitored point changes the sensor's status.
  • The sensor communicates the status wirelessly using the ALTA 433 MHz platform.
  • The information can be used within a compatible Monnit monitoring system for remote status monitoring.
