MONNIT Industrial 5-Input Wireless Dry Contact Sensor is an industrial wireless sensor designed to monitor up to five dry contact inputs from switches, relays and other contact-based equipment. Using ALTA 433 MHz wireless technology, it sends contact status information to a compatible monitoring system for remote visibility. It is suitable for industrial facilities, equipment rooms and other locations where multiple contact points need to be monitored without installing separate sensors for each input.

The MONNIT Industrial 5-Input Wireless Dry Contact Sensor provides a practical way to monitor several contact points from one wireless sensor. It can be used where equipment status is represented by the opening or closing of a contact, such as mechanical switches, relays, transistor switches or contact plates.

Rather than using an individual sensor for each monitored point, this model provides five independent wired inputs with a ground connection. This can help simplify installations where several related signals need to be monitored from the same location.

How it works

  • Five wired inputs are connected to dry contact points, with a ground wire.
  • The sensor monitors the contact status of each input independently.
  • When contact activity is detected, the sensor transmits the information wirelessly.
  • The transmitted data is intended for use with the Monnit wireless monitoring ecosystem.

Why choose this product

  • Allows multiple contact points to be monitored using one sensor.
  • Suitable for installations where switches or relays already provide dry contact outputs.
  • Uses the ALTA 433 MHz version intended for the corresponding regional frequency configuration.
  • Industrial enclosure format with a pre-installed 3 Volt industrial battery and SMA antenna.

Benefits

  • Reduces the number of individual monitoring devices required for up to five contact points.
  • Supports remote monitoring of equipment and system status.
  • Helps centralise the monitoring of several related contact signals.
  • Suitable for applications where wired contact points are located within the same monitoring area.
