MONNIT 750 PSIG Industrial Wireless Pressure Sensor
MONNIT 750 PSIG Industrial Wireless Pressure Sensor is an industrial wireless pressure meter designed to remotely monitor gauge pressure in gas, liquid and vapour supply lines up to 750 PSIG. It uses a pressure transducer to measure line pressure and sends readings wirelessly to Monnit's iMonnit monitoring software. With an industrial enclosure, pre-installed 3V battery and ALTA 433 MHz wireless communication, it suits applications such as water supply, compressed air, pumping systems, irrigation, HVAC and industrial process monitoring.
The MONNIT 750 PSIG Industrial Wireless Pressure Sensor is part of the ALTA range of wireless PSIG pressure meters. It is designed to monitor pressure in gas, liquid and vapour supply lines where regular access to pressure information is important for equipment and process monitoring. The model has a measurement range of 0 to 750 PSIG and uses gauge pressure, meaning pressure is measured relative to atmospheric pressure.
The industrial version combines a piezoresistive pressure transducer with an industrial wireless radio. Monnit specifies 1% full-scale accuracy for its ALTA PSIG pressure meters and a corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel housing with NEMA 4X (IP66) protection.
How it works
- The pressure transducer measures gauge pressure in the connected gas, liquid or vapour supply line.
- The sensor can take measurements at a user-defined interval or Heartbeat, with configurable assessments used to determine whether the measured pressure has moved outside the configured limits.
- Pressure readings are transmitted wirelessly to an ALTA gateway and made available through iMonnit or another approved data service.
- iMonnit can store pressure data, display trends and generate alerts when configured pressure conditions are exceeded.
Why choose this product
- Provides remote monitoring for pressure points that may be inconvenient to inspect manually.
- The 750 PSIG range is suited to higher-pressure supply and process monitoring applications.
- The industrial enclosure is designed for demanding indoor and outdoor environments.
- Wireless communication can reduce the need for signal wiring between the pressure measurement point and monitoring system.
- The sensor includes wireless mounting hardware, a pre-installed 3V industrial battery and SMA antenna.
Benefits
- Helps operators identify pressure changes without relying solely on manual inspections.
- Provides historical pressure information for reviewing operating conditions and trends.
- Configurable alerts can help notify users when pressure moves outside selected parameters.
- Suitable for distributed monitoring where several pressure points need to be observed through a central monitoring platform.
