ProSight Micro Differential Pressure Transmitter & Controller – MEMS Sensor
ProSight Micro Differential Pressure Transmitter & Controller – MEMS Sensor, LCD Display is a high-precision micro differential pressure controller with RS485 output, relay control, and real-time LCD display. Perfect for cleanrooms, HVAC, labs, and air pressure monitoring.
The ProSight Micro Differential Pressure Transmitter & Controller – MEMS Sensor is an industrial measurement device designed to measure the difference in pressure between two separate pressure points and convert that measurement into a standardized electrical signal.
A differential pressure transmitter differs from a conventional pressure transmitter because it measures the difference between two pressures rather than measuring only one pressure relative to atmospheric pressure or a vacuum reference. This makes the ProSight Micro Differential Pressure Transmitter & Controller – MEMS Sensor particularly useful for monitoring pressure drops across filters, measuring flow through pressure-based systems, monitoring equipment performance, and maintaining pressure differences between controlled areas.
The transmitter has two pressure inputs, generally identified as the high-pressure (+) and low-pressure (-) sides. The internal sensing element detects the difference between these two pressures and the transmitter's electronics process the signal to provide a corresponding output for monitoring and control systems.
It can be integrated with PLCs, SCADA systems, HMIs, building management systems, data acquisition equipment, and industrial controllers, depending on the selected output configuration.
How Does It Work?
- The higher pressure is applied to the transmitter's high-pressure (+) port.
- The lower pressure is applied to the low-pressure (-) port.
- The internal differential pressure sensing element responds to the pressure difference between the two ports.
- The sensing element converts the pressure difference into an electrical signal.
- Internal electronic circuitry processes and conditions the sensor signal.
- The transmitter generates an output signal proportional to the measured differential pressure.
- The output can be connected to a PLC, SCADA system, HMI, BMS, data acquisition system, or other compatible control equipment.
- The measured pressure difference can then be used to monitor equipment operation, calculate flow, detect filter blockage, or maintain controlled pressure conditions.
