Smart DC Bench Power Supply with Battery Charging Mode

This smart DC bench power supply is engineered for users who require both precision DC output and assisted battery charging functionality within a single laboratory instrument. In addition to standard constant-voltage and constant-current operation, the unit features a dedicated Battery Mode, enabling controlled charging of multiple battery chemistries with automated status indication and output management.

The Battery Mode assists users by monitoring charge behaviour and automatically disconnecting output when charging is complete or when abnormal conditions are detected. Clear status indicators show charging progress, wiring faults, or battery issues, improving safety during supervised charging tasks.

A digital encoder knob allows fast, accurate adjustment of voltage and current, while the output enable/disable switch ensures settings can be configured safely before energising the terminals. Integrated over-voltage (OVP) and over-current (OCP) protection with buzzer alarms immediately shut down output during fault conditions, protecting both the power supply and connected equipment.

The compact bench-top design includes USB-A and USB-C fast-charging ports for auxiliary devices, an intelligent temperature-controlled cooling fan, and a clear digital display for real-time monitoring—making it suitable for R&D labs, battery evaluation, electronics repair, and education environments.

Battery Charging Mode – Operation Overview

• Set voltage and current according to battery manufacturer specifications
