It uses an oil-filled silicon sensing core with high overload capacity and combines MEMS technology, ASIC technology, and digital compensation to provide stable and dependable pressure measurement. The transmitter can be configured for different pressure ranges, electrical outputs, pressure connections, and pressure forms, making it suitable for integration into a wide variety of industrial equipment and control systems.

How Does It Work?

The ProSight Industrial Pressure Transmitter – Oil FIlled Corrosion-Resistant is installed directly into a pressurized system using the appropriate process connection. Pressure from the measured gas or liquid acts on the internal oil-filled silicon sensing element. The resulting change in the sensing element is converted into an electrical signal, digitally compensated using ASIC technology, and provided as an analog or RS485 output for connection to a PLC, controller, HMI, SCADA system, data acquisition equipment, or other monitoring devices.

Depending on the selected configuration, the transmitter can provide 4–20 mA, 0.5–4.5 V, 0–5 V, 0–10 V, or RS485 output. It can also be configured for gauge or absolute pressure measurement.
