This Split Core Current Transformer is engineered for accurate measurement of high-current AC loads in heavy industrial and commercial environments.

Designed for 630A to 2500A primary conductors, the unit provides a low-level 0.333V secondary voltage output, making it ideal for direct connection to:

  • Digital energy meters

  • Power analysers

  • Data loggers

  • Remote telemetry units (RTUs)

  • IoT energy monitoring gateways

  • Building Management Systems (BMS)

Unlike traditional 5A secondary CTs, the 0.333V output enhances safety and simplifies installation by eliminating high secondary currents. This makes it particularly suitable for modern electronic metering systems.

The split-core design allows non-intrusive installation around existing conductors without disconnecting cabling, reducing downtime in live facilities.

Operating at 50–60Hz, the transformer maintains a phase angle error of less than 2° at 50% rated current, supporting accurate demand monitoring and load profiling.
