This wireless leaf surface moisture sensor is engineered to measure surface wetness levels on plant foliage, supporting disease prediction, irrigation optimisation, and crop health management.
The sensing plate detects moisture presence across a 0–99% wetness range, allowing growers to monitor dew formation, rainfall residue, and prolonged leaf moisture conditions that contribute to fungal and bacterial disease risk.
The unit features a local digital LCD display for quick on-site reference and transmits data wirelessly at fixed intervals (approximately every 79.5 seconds) to compatible monitoring systems.
With an IP66 waterproof rating, the device is suitable for long-term outdoor deployment in vineyards, orchards, greenhouses, nurseries, and research installations. The durable housing protects internal electronics from rain, dust, and environmental exposure.
Low power consumption enables a minimum 12-month battery life using a single AA battery (not included).
