A battery-powered laser distance sensor for non-contact monitoring of liquid levels in tanks and vessels, featuring Class 1 laser safety, wireless transmission, and optional heater for cold environments.
This wireless laser distance sensor provides non-contact level measurement using a low-power Class 1 laser. It is designed for monitoring water and other non-reflective liquid levels in tanks, reservoirs, sumps, and similar containers where probe immersion is undesirable.
The system consists of a laser measurement module, display unit, and remote battery compartment connected by cable. Measurement data is transmitted wirelessly to a compatible display or gateway at configurable intervals, with faster reporting when level changes are detected.
An optional internal heater supports reliable operation in colder environments. The device is intended for level indication and trend monitoring and does not perform control, actuation, or safety-critical functions.
