DRAGINO Wireless Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor is a long-range LoRaWAN sensor for monitoring temperature, relative humidity and illuminance. It combines built-in temperature and humidity sensing with an external illuminance sensor based on the BH1750. Supporting LoRaWAN Class A and multiple frequency bands, the sensor is designed for professional wireless monitoring applications where reliable remote data collection and low power operation are required.

The DRAGINO Wireless Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor is designed for long-range wireless environmental monitoring. It combines a built-in temperature and humidity sensor with an external illuminance sensor, allowing three environmental parameters to be collected by one LoRaWAN end device.

The sensor communicates using LoRaWAN Class A and can operate with a standard LoRaWAN gateway. It supports several regional frequency bands, including AS923 and AU915, allowing the appropriate version to be selected for the intended deployment region.

How it works

  • The built-in sensors measure temperature and relative humidity.
  • The external illuminance sensor measures light intensity in lux.
  • Measurements are transmitted wirelessly through a compatible LoRaWAN network.
  • The device can be configured using AT commands or remotely through LoRaWAN downlink commands.
  • A built-in datalog function can retain sensor data when a LoRaWAN network is unavailable.

Why choose this product

  • Three environmental measurements in one device - Temperature, humidity and illuminance can be monitored using a single LoRaWAN sensor.
  • Long-range wireless communication - LoRaWAN connectivity is suited to distributed monitoring installations where long wireless range is important.
  • Low-maintenance operation - Dragino specifies a built-in 2400 mAh non-chargeable battery with use of up to 10 years, depending on transmission frequency.
  • Flexible deployment - Multiple regional LoRaWAN frequency bands are available.
  • Remote configuration - Parameters can be changed through LoRaWAN downlink commands without requiring direct physical access.

Benefits

The DRAGINO Wireless Temperature Humidity and Illuminance Sensor provides a practical way to collect environmental measurements across distributed monitoring points without requiring a wired connection to each sensor. Its combination of internal environmental sensing and an externally connected light sensor also allows temperature, humidity and illumination data to be collected from the same monitoring point.
