It measures leaf moisture and leaf temperature and transmits the collected data to an IoT platform for monitoring and analysis. The leaf-shaped probe uses FDR technology to detect moisture on the leaf surface, while NB-IoT connectivity enables remote data transmission. The DRAGINO NB-IoT Leaf Moisture and Temperature Sensor is designed for remote leaf condition monitoring in agricultural IoT systems. It measures both the amount of moisture present on the leaf surface and leaf temperature, allowing collected data to be sent to an IoT platform for analysis.

The sensor uses FDR (Frequency Domain Reflectometry) to detect changes in the dielectric constant caused by liquid on the leaf surface. Its probe has a leaf-shaped design intended to reproduce the characteristics of a real leaf, with a stated density of 15 leaf vein lines per centimetre to help detect small moisture droplets.
