DRAGINO NB-IoT 2-Channel and 3-Channel NB-IoT Temperature Sensor
DRAGINO NB-IoT 2-Channel and 3-Channel NB-IoT Temperature Sensor (D22-NB-2-Channel and D23-NB-3-Channel) are NB-IoT temperature sensors for remote temperature monitoring and IoT applications. Both use DS18B20 temperature probes with a measurement range of -55°C to 125°C and support temperature alarms, data logging, MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP communication. The D22-NB accommodates two temperature probes, while the D23-NB supports three. An IP66 enclosure, BLE configuration, OTA firmware updates and an 8500mAh Li/SOCI2 battery support long-term monitoring applications.
The DRAGINO NB-IoT 2-Channel and 3-Channel NB-IoT Temperature Sensor (D22-NB-2-Channel and D23-NB-3-Channel) are designed for applications that require temperature data to be collected remotely and transmitted to an IoT platform using NB-IoT connectivity.
Both models use Dallas DS18B20 temperature sensors with a specified measurement range of -55°C to 125°C and accuracy of ±0.5°C, maximum ±2.0°C. The sensors can be configured with temperature alarms to provide notification when defined temperature conditions are reached.
The sensors include data logging functionality. If NB-IoT connectivity is temporarily unavailable, temperature data can be stored locally and uploaded when the network connection becomes available again.
How it works
- The connected DS18B20 probes measure temperature at the monitored points.
- The sensor processes the temperature readings and periodically sends the data through an NB-IoT network.
- Data can be uploaded using MQTT, MQTTs, UDP or TCP, depending on the application and IoT server requirements.
- Data logging allows readings to be retained when NB-IoT connectivity is unavailable and uploaded after the connection is restored.
- BLE can be used for configuration and firmware updates, while downlink communication allows configuration changes to be sent to the device.
Why choose this product
- Remote NB-IoT monitoring - Suitable for temperature applications where readings need to be transmitted to an IoT platform.
- Multiple temperature points - The D22-NB supports two probes and the D23-NB supports three.
- Wide measurement range - DS18B20 probes provide a specified range of -55°C to 125°C.
- Data retention during network interruptions - Local datalogging helps prevent temperature readings from being lost when network connectivity is unavailable.
- Flexible IoT communication - MQTT, MQTTs, UDP and TCP uplink methods are supported.
