DRAGINO Dual-Band 868MHz/915MHz Omni-Directional LoRaWAN Antenna
DRAGINO Dual-Band 868MHz/915MHz Omni-Directional LoRaWAN Antenna is a dual-band fibreglass antenna covering 868MHz and 915MHz, built for outdoor and industrial RF use. Vertically polarised with omni-directional coverage, it connects via an RP-SMA male fitting and is rated to operate from -45°C to +85°C.
DRAGINO Dual-Band 868MHz/915MHz Omni-Directional LoRaWAN Antenna is built to cover both the 868MHz and 915MHz bands, making it suited to LoRa and LoRaWAN gateways, sensors and other sub-GHz wireless devices operating across either frequency. It has an omni-directional radiation pattern with vertical polarisation, so it doesn't need to be pointed at a specific receiver — useful in fixed installations where signal needs to be picked up from multiple directions.
The housing is a grey fibreglass rod, 200mm long (±5mm) with a 20mm diameter, finished with a PET white label. It connects via an RP-SMA male fitting, with the mating pins nickel-plated and gold-plated internally for a stable, corrosion-resistant connection over time.
How it works
- The fibreglass element resonates across the 868MHz and 915MHz bands, converting RF signal to and from the connected radio or IoT device.
- Vertical polarisation and omni-directional coverage mean it sends and receives signal evenly around its axis, rather than in one direction.
- The RP-SMA male connector allows direct attachment to gateways, sensors or RF modules fitted with a matching RP-SMA female port.
Why choose this antenna
- Covers both 868MHz and 915MHz in the one unit, useful where a device or deployment needs to work across both bands.
- Rated for a wide operating temperature range (-45°C to +85°C), so it's suited to outdoor cabinets, rooftops and other exposed installations.
- Has passed a documented set of environmental and mechanical tests (detailed below), giving some assurance of durability beyond the electrical specifications alone.
Benefits
- Straightforward RP-SMA connection — no additional adaptors needed for RP-SMA female equipment.
- Consistent, low VSWR performance across both bands (see test data below).
- RoHS compliant construction.
