ACREL Three Phase Prepaid Energy Meter with RS485
ACREL Three Phase Prepaid Energy Meter with RS485 is a three-phase prepaid energy meter for monitoring electrical energy consumption and managing prepaid or postpaid operation. It measures active and reactive energy together with key electrical parameters, while RS485 communication supports data exchange with compatible systems. The meter also incorporates a built-in relay for load switching control and an LCD display for local information viewing.
The ACREL Three Phase Prepaid Energy Meter with RS485 is designed for three-phase electrical energy measurement where prepaid energy management and load control are required. It can operate in prepaid or postpaid mode, allowing the meter to be incorporated into an appropriate energy management or prepaid metering system.
The meter measures total active energy and provides monitoring of voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor and frequency. RS485 communication with Modbus-RTU allows measurement data and supported parameters to be exchanged with a compatible monitoring or management system.
How it works
- Measures three-phase electrical energy and associated electrical parameters.
- Supports prepaid operation through communication with a compatible prepaid system.
- In prepaid mode, the meter can control the connected load according to the available credit.
- A built-in holding relay provides electrical load switching control.
- RS485 communication uses the Modbus-RTU protocol for connection to compatible monitoring or energy management systems.
- An LCD display provides local access to meter information.
