ACREL Three Phase Busway Monitoring Module
ACREL Three Phase Busway Monitoring Module is a three-phase AC busway monitoring module for measuring electrical parameters, energy, harmonics, temperature and leakage current. It supports RS485 communication using Modbus-RTU and is designed for DIN35 rail installation. The module is suited to smart busbar monitoring applications where electrical operating data needs to be collected and integrated into a central monitoring system.
AMB100 - (Feeding Cabinet): Handles main power input monitoring with broader current transformer (CT).
AMB110 - (Tapping Cabinet): Handles branch or plug-in box monitoring down the line, typically standardizing on specific CT.
The ACREL Three Phase Busway Monitoring Module is part of Acrel's AMB series of smart busway monitoring modules. It is intended for monitoring three-phase AC circuits in smart busbar systems, combining electrical measurement with additional condition monitoring functions.
The module measures voltage, current, frequency, active and reactive power, power factor and active and reactive energy. It also supports harmonic measurement from the 2nd to the 63rd harmonic, along with leakage current, temperature, humidity, maximum demand and neutral current monitoring.
How it works
- The module monitors a three-phase AC busway using voltage inputs and compatible current transformers.
- Electrical measurements are processed by the monitoring module and can include voltage, current, power, energy, power factor and harmonic information.
- Additional inputs provide monitoring of leakage current and busway temperature.
- Two digital inputs and two digital outputs provide additional monitoring and control functions.
- Monitoring data can be communicated through RS485 using the Modbus-RTU protocol.
