ACREL Panel Mount Three Phase Power Energy Meter is a panel-mounted three-phase multi-function power meter designed to monitor key electrical parameters in AC power systems. It measures voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency and electrical energy, with readings shown on an LED display. Optional communication and input/output functions allow selected versions to be incorporated into power monitoring, SCADA and energy management systems.

The ACREL Panel Mount Three Phase Power Energy Meter provides local measurement of electrical parameters through a compact 96 × 96 mm panel-mounted design. It is intended for monitoring three-phase AC electrical systems where several parameters need to be viewed from a single instrument.

The meter measures three-phase voltage and current together with active, reactive and apparent power, power factor, frequency and four-quadrant electrical energy. The LED display provides a convenient local indication of measured values.

The PZ96-E3 can also be specified with optional communication and signal functions. Depending on the selected version, these can include RS485 Modbus-RTU communication, digital inputs and outputs, pulse output, analogue output, event recording and harmonic measurement. These options make the meter suitable for applications where electrical measurements need to be incorporated into a wider monitoring or control system.

How it works

  • The meter receives voltage and current signals from the monitored AC electrical system.
