ACREL Multi-Circuit AC Energy Meter for Base Station Power Monitoring is a DIN-rail multi-circuit energy meter for monitoring electrical parameters across multiple AC circuits. It can measure up to four three-phase circuits or twelve single-phase circuits and supports voltage, current, power, power factor, energy, phase angle, unbalance and harmonic measurements. RS485 communication with Modbus-RTU provides a practical interface for integrating measured data into a monitoring or energy management system.

The ACREL Multi-Circuit AC Energy Meter for Base Station Power Monitoring is a DIN-rail multi-circuit power meter intended for monitoring multiple AC distribution circuits from a single meter. It can monitor up to four three-phase circuits or twelve single-phase circuits, depending on the system configuration.

The meter measures a range of electrical parameters, including voltage, current, power, power factor, phase angle, unbalance and harmonics. It is designed to work with external current sensors, with the current input specified by Acrel documentation as 50 mA, with other sensor input options also documented for the model.

How it works

  • The meter receives voltage measurement signals and current signals from compatible external current sensors.
  • It measures electrical parameters across multiple connected circuits.
  • Measured information can be viewed through the meter and transmitted through its RS485 interface.
  • Modbus-RTU communication allows the meter to be connected to compatible power monitoring and energy management systems.

Why choose this product

  • Provides multi-circuit monitoring from one compact DIN-rail device.
  • Supports either four three-phase circuits or twelve single-phase circuits.
  • Provides RS485 communication for integration with monitoring systems.
  • Measures a broad range of electrical parameters rather than energy consumption alone.
  • Its DIN-rail format is suited to installation within electrical distribution and monitoring panels.

Benefits

  • Centralises electrical measurements from multiple circuits.
  • Helps provide visibility of circuit-level electrical consumption and operating conditions.
  • Supports remote data collection through Modbus-RTU.
  • Provides harmonic and power-quality-related measurements in addition to basic voltage and current monitoring.
  • Can be used as part of a broader energy monitoring system.
