ACREL Multi Channel Three Phase Energy Meter with RS485
ACREL Multi Channel Three Phase Energy Meter with RS485 is an AC multi-channel energy meter designed to monitor two independent three-phase incoming circuits. It measures voltage, current, frequency, active and reactive power and power factor, with additional power quality analysis including harmonics and voltage and current unbalance. The unit also provides six digital inputs, two digital outputs, temperature and humidity monitoring, leakage current monitoring and RS485 Modbus-RTU communication. It is installed on a standard 35 mm DIN rail and uses current transformers for current measurement.
The ACREL Multi Channel Three Phase Energy Meter with RS485 is designed for applications that require monitoring of two independent three-phase AC incoming circuits from a single monitoring device. It measures essential electrical parameters including voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power and power factor.
The meter also provides power quality information, including second to 63rd harmonics, total harmonic content and current and voltage unbalance. Additional functions include digital input and output channels, temperature and humidity monitoring and leakage current monitoring.
Communication is provided through RS485 using Modbus-RTU, allowing the device to exchange monitoring data with a compatible supervisory or energy management system. The unit is designed for 35 mm standard DIN-rail installation and uses the voltage input as its power supply.
How it works
- The meter monitors two independent three-phase AC incoming circuits.
- Voltage is measured directly within the specified input range, while current measurement is performed through current transformers.
- The device calculates and monitors electrical parameters such as voltage, current, frequency, active power, reactive power and power factor.
- Power quality measurements include harmonics and voltage and current unbalance.
- Digital inputs, digital outputs, temperature and humidity monitoring and leakage current monitoring provide additional monitoring functions.
- Measured information can be communicated through RS485 Modbus-RTU.
