ACREL Hall Effect Current Sensor and Transducer Series
ACREL Hall Effect Current Sensor and Transducer Series provides current measurement for AC, DC, pulse and other current signals across a wide range of electrical applications. Available models offer different current ranges, output signals, measuring apertures and auxiliary power requirements. Split-core versions can be installed around an existing conductor, while other models provide compact solutions for panel and equipment integration. The range is suited to current monitoring, inverter systems, power conversion equipment, UPS systems and industrial electrical measurement.
The ACREL Hall Effect Current Sensor and Transducer Series range provides a selection of current measurement devices for integrating electrical current signals into monitoring, control and measurement systems.
Hall effect sensing allows the measured current to be converted into an electrical output suitable for connection to monitoring equipment, controllers, PLCs and other instrumentation. Depending on the selected model, the sensors can measure AC current, DC current, pulse current or other specified current signals.
How it works
- The sensor detects the magnetic field produced by current flowing through the measured conductor.
- The Hall effect sensing circuit converts the detected current into an electrical output.
- Depending on the model, the output can be a voltage signal, 4-20 mA signal or another specified output.
- The resulting signal can be connected to suitable monitoring, control or data acquisition equipment.
