ACREL DC Insulation Monitor for Energy Storage Systems with RS485 is a DC insulation monitor designed for monitoring insulation resistance between the positive and negative poles and ground in ungrounded DC systems. It is intended for energy storage systems operating from 15V to 150V or 150 V to 1500 V DC and provides insulation resistance monitoring, alarm functions and RS485 communication with Modbus-RTU.
The ACREL DC Insulation Monitor for Energy Storage Systems with RS485 is designed for online insulation monitoring in ungrounded DC systems, with particular application in energy storage systems using DC voltages from 15V to 150V or 150 V to 1500 V. It monitors the insulation resistance between the DC positive and negative poles and ground, helping identify deterioration in insulation before it develops into a more serious system fault.
The monitor also measures the DC system voltage and provides status indication through LED indicators. Two relay outputs can be configured for warning and alarm functions, while RS485 communication using Modbus-RTU allows measured information and device status to be integrated into a suitable monitoring or control system.
