ACREL Closed Type Current Transformer

TheACREL Closed Type Current Transformer are closed-type current transformers intended for use with compatible electrical measurement and energy monitoring systems.

The transformer provides a lower secondary current signal corresponding to the current flowing through the primary conductor. This signal can then be used by compatible meters or monitoring equipment for current measurement and related electrical monitoring functions.

Acrel lists the AKH-0.66/W-12NY with a 100A/50mA ratio. The AKH-0.66/W-45NY is listed in 400A/50mA and 600A/50mA versions. The published specifications also identify a closed installation type, crystal head/RJ interface, 0.2 class accuracy and a 1 + 0.2 metre line length for these listed configurations.

How it works
