ACREL BM100 Series Analogue Signal Isolator provide electrical isolation and analogue signal conversion for industrial measurement and automation systems. The selected models support current inputs with current or voltage outputs, with options for DC, AC/DC, passive and loop-powered operation. DIN rail installation and multiple channel configurations make the series suitable for integration with PLCs, meters, A/D converters and other control equipment.

The ACREL BM100 Series Analogue Signal Isolator provides a practical interface between field measurement signals and control or monitoring equipment. It can isolate and convert analogue signals so they can be passed to equipment such as PLCs, digital meters, A/D converters and computer systems.

The models covered here are primarily current-input versions. Depending on the selected model, the signal path can provide one or two output channels, while the power arrangement can be supplied separately, derived from the loop or provided through passive operation.

        How it works

        • The BM100 receives an analogue current signal from a connected measurement or control device.
        • The signal is electrically isolated and converted according to the selected model.
        • The resulting analogue output is provided to a PLC, meter, controller, A/D converter or other compatible equipment.
        • Depending on the model, the unit operates from an external power supply, loop power or passive operation.

        Why choose this product

        • Provides a dedicated interface between analogue field signals and control equipment.
        • Offers several channel and power supply configurations within the same product series.
        • Supports commonly used industrial current signals.
        • DIN rail installation allows the unit to be incorporated into suitable control panels and automation systems.
        • The series provides a stated transmission accuracy of 0.2 percent.

        Benefits

        • Helps separate signal interfaces within an automation system.
        • Allows current signals to be converted into suitable analogue output signals on applicable models.
        • Provides options for systems requiring one or two output channels.
        • Supports integration with PLCs, meters and other analogue signal receiving equipment.
        • A common BM100 platform simplifies selection across different signal and power requirements.
