ACREL BD100 Series Electrical Transducer for Power Monitoring
ACREL BD100 Series Electrical Transducer for Power Monitoringmeasure electrical parameters including current, voltage, power, frequency and power factor, then convert the measured values into isolated analogue or digital signals. With Class 0.5 accuracy and multiple model configurations, the series can be used for electrical monitoring, measurement and industrial automation applications. Selected models provide RS485 Modbus RTU communication for integration with monitoring and control systems.
The ACREL BD100 Series Electrical Transducer for Power Monitoring provides isolated measurement and signal conversion for electrical monitoring and control systems. The transducer receives an electrical measurement such as current, voltage or power and converts it into a proportional DC analogue signal or, on applicable models, a digital communication signal.
The series includes different configurations to suit single-phase and three-phase measurement requirements. This allows the appropriate BD model to be selected according to the electrical parameter being monitored and the required input, output and wiring arrangement.
How It Works
- Measures specified electrical parameters such as AC current, DC current, AC voltage, DC voltage, active power, reactive power, frequency or power factor, depending on the model.
- Isolates the measured signal from the output and auxiliary power supply.
- Converts the measured parameter into a standard DC analogue output or digital signal.
- Applicable models provide RS485 communication using Modbus RTU.
- The output can be connected to monitoring, control or automation equipment such as PLC systems and other compatible devices.
Why Choose This Product
- Broad model range for different electrical measurement requirements.
- Class 0.5 measurement accuracy across the BD Series general technical specifications.
- Multiple analogue output options are available depending on model configuration.
- Selected models support RS485 Modbus RTU communication.
- Suitable for integration into electrical monitoring and automation systems.
- DIN rail or screw mounting is supported according to the manufacturer's general technical information.
Benefits
- Converts electrical measurements into signals that can be used by monitoring and control equipment.
- Electrical isolation helps separate the measurement circuit from the output and power supply circuits.
- Multiple model configurations allow the transducer to be matched to different measurement requirements.
- Standard analogue outputs simplify connection to compatible control and monitoring equipment.
- RS485 models can provide digital communication for suitable monitoring systems.
