ACREL BA Series AC Current Transducer with Analogue Output provide isolated AC current measurement with standard analogue DC outputs for electrical monitoring and industrial automation. Models are available for current ranges from 0 to 1 A through to 0 to 600 A, with either current or voltage output options depending on the model.

         

        The ACREL BA Series AC Current Transducer with Analogue Output use electromagnetic induction to measure AC current and convert the measured signal into a standard DC analogue output. This makes the transducers suitable for integrating current measurements into PLC-based industrial automation and electrical monitoring systems.

        The range provides different current measurement capacities and output formats. This allows the appropriate model to be selected according to the measured current and the analogue input required by the connected control or monitoring equipment.

        How it works

        • The transducer measures AC current passing through its internal perforation.
        • Electromagnetic induction is used to obtain the AC current measurement.
        • The measured signal is converted into a standard DC analogue output.
        • Current-output models provide 4 to 20 mA or 0 to 20 mA.
        • Voltage-output models provide 1 to 5 V or 0 to 5 V.
